The D-MAX incorporates Isuzu’s signature 3L turbo-diesel engine as standard. This stems from almost 90 years of experience producing diesel engines, beginning way back in 1936 when developing Japan’s first air-cooled automotive diesel engine. Constant technological improvements, innovations and in-depth experience across the production of more than 26 million diesel engines means Isuzu is an established global leader in developing capable and efficient engines for all kinds of applications.

The D-MAX brings an entire new level of technology to the range. LS models include a large 9.0″ touchscreen satellite navigation system complete with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto phone mirroring capability allowing you to project sat nav directions, play music, make and receive calls and more. For the owner that spends plenty of time on the open road, LS automatic models also include adaptive cruise control which automatically adjusts your speed depending on the vehicle in front of you.

Standard across the range, Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS) technology includes an extensive list of both active and passive safety systems. Employing state-of-the-art sensors and a stereo camera, IDAS constantly monitors your surrounding environment for danger. Should it detect a collision is imminent, the system will work to help the driver to defuse dangerous situations via alert systems and automated functions. Each D-MAX model includes eight airbags as standard and a stronger, more robust chassis, as well as a reinforced cabin safety cell for ultimate protection.

Careful attention to detail allows Isuzu to deliver higher levels of passive safety features. Safety features like multiple airbags, parking sensors, a reversing camera and automatic lights/wipers provide piece of mind under all situations.
